The Morgon Cru covers about 1100 hectares and produces 64 000 hectolitres a year. Recognized for decades, this appellation is proud to be farmed in two neighbouring regions :
''Morgon, Beaujolais fruit , Burgundy charm ''.

Situated in the northern part of the appellation, the ''Douby'' climate, the vineyard faces south-east on a decompensated schist granite soil. These flat parcels are hand picked, as are all of our Crus , in order to avoid the grape's trituration which could subsequently spoil the quality of the wine.
To obtain a well-constituted robust wine, the vinification of this Cru is longer. The wine matures in wooden tuns for 6 to 12 months to become harmonious. The first bottles are filled in Spring.
A piece of advice before tasting our Morgon : open the bottle of the young vintages some hours before or decant the older vintages for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve our Morgon at room temperature with game, red meat or strong cheese.
It opens its aromas of ripened and candied fruits and its unforgettable flavour of kirsch in the mouth.
