The surface of the Chiroubles Cru covers 370 hectares, for yearly free-run yield of about 20 000 hectolitres.
One says that it is the most feminine Cru of the Beaujolais. Besides, its marketing is done by the ''Confrérie des Damoiselles de Chiroubles'' (association of the damsels of Chiroubles), an association exclusively formed by the women of the appellation.

Our Chiroubles is mostly harvested on the lower part of the commun, on a granite type soil and situated on slopes facing South.
The grapes are exclusively handpicked and entirely vinified by regulated temperature. They mature in wooden tuns for 6 to 9 months and the wine is bottled at the château by a specialized company.

Before tasting these wines , we would advise you to open the young wines one hour and the aged wines 3 to 4 hours before.
This way, you will discover aromas of violet and peony and flavours on the palate of red fruits , typical of the appellation.
Already very inviting from the beginning, they can easily be kept for 3 or 4 years. Served between 12 and 15°C , our wines go perfectly with white meat, charcuterie and starters.
